Gillian Cross's Description:
It's your big day! It's exciting and possibly a little nerve wracking! There has been so much time and effort put into making everything special, and I'm on hand to document all of those cherished moments.
My blog is a mix of photographs from an entire wedding, to posts about specific aspects of a wedding day. Things I notice like different ways to display the table numbers.
I'm unobtrusive and friendly, and will blend into the background of your special day.

We've recently been lucky enough to go back to the Canadian Rockies for a holiday. We re-visited one of my favourite views - the first peak of Mount Rundle from Vermillion Lakes. It's absolutely beautiful there. Gillian.
A lovely summer's wedding day at Crook Hall and this couple were welcoming their evening guests. This was lovely as it was in a separate part of the garden to where the daytime guests were, so they got a chance to chat to their evening guests properly. Gillian.
This is a really summery wedding bouquet with an unusual splash of peach. The flower girl's sash and the groom's tie were blue so the cornflowers were ideal. I love the hydrangea and the peonies, a real flavour of summer! Gillian.

This design uses a square photograph in a portrait orientation with the couple's own message on the back. There is also space to write a personal message if you so wish. Each card comes with an envelope. Click here to see design number one ~ landscape photograph. Gillian.
This was taken at a beautiful summer wedding at Crook Hall and Gardens in County Durham. This guest is an artist and I caught her sketching amongst a lovely bed of summer flowers. To see more photos from this wedding please CLICK HERE. Thanks for looking! Gillian.
After seeing the photos that I took of the last newborn photo shoot, one of my brides from this year asked if I could photograph her newborn niece. Her sister had been a pregnant bridesmaid :-) I was delighted to capture these special, new memories for her. First, a family shot. This saying is ...
I absolutely love this shot because it shows the difference in size of each member of the family's hands. It also reminds you of the grip of a tiny baby's fingers on yours and how strong they can be! To view more information about my Newborn Photo Sessions in the North East, please CLICK ...
Last week I had the pleasure of photographing some show cakes made by Sandra at House of Cakes. She hires show cakes that are a fraction of the cost of a whole cake to eat and you don't end up with a lot of wasted cake. Here's a sneak peek of one of the cakes - vintage lace. Please contact me to ...
